Community Service

Once a quarter, the Kingdom men will join together in a community project, defined by the group. Projects may vary during the year but are intended to achieve the following:

•  Greater fellowship and bonding between the men in the group.
• Practical application of spiritual development
• Positive long-term influence on the community 
• Development of personal leadership skills, suitable for leading in the faith-based community
• Food delivery to home bound and shut in
• Opportunity for evangelism and Kingdom building 

Examples of projects might include:

1. Maintenance of the Bateman Center (cleaning, repair, painting, etc.)
2. Mentors for men released from prison.
3. Mentors for teens on probation (must pass background check)
4. Development of a community garden
5.  Food delivery to home bound and shut in.
6. Projects suggested by the participant’s home church.
